Frequently Asked Questions
Psychic Mediumship
I’ve never had a reading before. What can I expect?
People come to me when they have questions about various areas of their life and I offer insight into those areas for them. A reading with me should feel like a casual conversation. Usually people come with questions, wanting insight into various areas of their life. Using my intuitive skills, I will tune in to your energy to see what information comes from your questions. We can talk about past, present or potential future situations. Sometimes if I feel called I will pull Oracle cards for you as well during the session.
Why would someone want to connect to those in Spirit?
When we lose someone close to us, it can be hard. There may be questions you have. Are they ok? Do they know that I love them? Are they with family? Maybe you want to make amends because of a conversation you had, or didn’t have, with them. You want them to know you love them and you want to know that they love you. Contacting Spirit can answer many questions you have while also providing comfort, guidance, healing and closure.
How long should you wait before connecting with a loved one who has passed?
I recommend a minimum of 6 months from the time the loved one has passed. This allows you to grieve and come to a place of acceptance and it also allows your loved one to "settle in" to the other side.
Can you guarantee that a particular person will show up in a reading?
Unfortunately I am not able to predict who will join us for your reading. It is up to Spirit who shows up for our session together. However, it has been my experience that the exact right person that is meant to show up for you usually does. The universe has a way of showing us who we need to see in order to receive the message we are meant to hear.
How do I prepare for a reading?
It is very important to have an open mind for our session together without any expectations of how it will go or who you will connect with.
Your Loved Ones know exactly who needs to come through, what they need to say in order for you to know it’s them, and what messages you need to hear. Spirit will always give us what we need, which may not be what we want. Trusting in this process will help the session to flow smoothly.
What kind of space do I need to be in?
It is best to be in a quiet room with no one else in it. This allows for a strong connection. If other people are in the room there is a possibility that their loved ones will try and connect with me and therefore give you an inaccurate reading.
Is there anything I need to avoid prior to our session?
Yes, please refrain from alcohol and drugs prior to and during your reading. This too will allow for the best connection possible.
How do you ensure the accuracy of the information you provide?
Everyone has free will and you determine your own destiny. As a psychic medium, I will point out what I am receiving based on your current situation. You have the ability to change that situation at any point, which then can shift future possibilities. I can only give messages based on your life as it is at the moment of our call.
Is there anything I should do after the reading?
It is best if you take some time after our session to do something that is relaxing. This could be as simple as sitting quietly in the space you’re in, taking a bath, going for a walk or putting your barefeet in the grass outside. This will help to let the messages settle and help you to be with the energy and essence of your loved one. Some people can feel tired after a session. This is normal as it takes more energy for us to connect in as well as the energy of emotions taking place during the reading.
What if I am nervous about the session?
I know it can be easy for me to say there’s no need to be nervous, however I understand why you may feel that way! I will do my best to create a calm and relaxing environment for our session together. I only bring in loved ones that have your best and highest good in mind. If there is ever anyone you don’t want to hear from, you just have to let me know and we will kindly ask them to step aside and allow for someone else to come in. Most of my sessions are filled with love and healing so I promise there is nothing to fear.
What if no one from Spirit shows up to our session?
I have never had a session where Spirit doesn’t show up. Usually they come in with happiness and excitement for the opportunity to connect with you. I do my very best to connect with your loved ones for our session. However, if this were to happen it doesn’t mean that your loved ones don’t want to connect with you. It might not be the right time for you or your loved one. Recent and/or deep grief can block information from coming through. It could mean that I am not the right connector for your loved one to come through. In the rare case that it happens, I can either refund you for our session or reschedule for a later date.
Mediation
How can mediation help me with my internal struggle?
Mediation provides a supportive and neutral space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and inner conflicts. Through guided discussions and reflection, mediation can help you gain clarity, insight, and perspective on your internal struggles. It offers a structured approach to examining your challenges and finding constructive ways to address them.
As an example, let’s say that you are struggling with whether or not to make a career change. On the one side, you are unhappy and unfulfilled with your current job; on the other side there’s fear coming up around the uncertainty or unknowns of what switching careers would mean for you.
Together we would explore those feelings and concerns and identify what your values are in how you want to move forward. Through this process you can gain clarity on what truly matters to you and we can align those goals with your career. We can also work through anything that may be holding you back from taking those steps. The sessions can help resolve your struggle and allow you to move forward with confidence and ease.
Will you provide advice or guidance during the mediation session?
As a mediator, my role is not to provide advice or solutions but to facilitate open and honest communication between you and yourself. I will help you explore your thoughts and feelings, encouraging self-reflection and guiding you through the process of finding your own insights and solutions. However, if advice or guidance is something you are open to, we can explore that as well.
What techniques or approaches do you use to help individuals navigate their internal conflicts?
I use various techniques such as active listening, open-ended questioning, reframing perspectives, and mindfulness exercises to help individuals navigate their internal conflicts. These approaches are designed to promote self-awareness, empathy, and clarity, allowing you to gain a deeper understanding of your struggles and identify constructive ways to address them.
How long does it typically take to see progress or resolution through mediation?
The timeline for progress or resolution varies depending on the nature and complexity of your struggle. Some individuals may experience breakthroughs and insights in just a few sessions, while others may require more time to work through deeper-rooted issues. The focus is on your individual journey, and I will support you for as long as it takes to achieve meaningful progress and resolution.
Is it normal to feel uncomfortable or vulnerable during the mediation process?
Yes, it's completely normal to feel uncomfortable or vulnerable when confronting internal struggles. Mediation provides a safe and supportive environment where you can explore these feelings without judgment. Your emotional well-being is a priority, and I will ensure that you feel heard, validated, and respected throughout the process.
Can I trust that our discussions will remain confidential?
Absolutely. Confidentiality is a fundamental principle of mediation. Your privacy and trust are one of my top priorities.
Do you record your sessions?
I do not record sessions, however you are welcome to record them with your own device if you so choose.
Will I have control over the pace and direction of the mediation session?
Yes, you will have full control over the pace and direction of the session. It's important that you feel comfortable and empowered throughout the process. You can choose what to discuss and how deeply to go into certain topics. I will follow your lead and support you in achieving your goals at your own pace.
What happens if I become overwhelmed or emotional during the session?
If you become overwhelmed or emotional during the session, it's important to acknowledge and honor those feelings. I will provide a supportive space for you to express yourself and process your emotions without judgment. We can take breaks as needed, and I will offer techniques to help you regain a sense of calm. Your well-being is my priority, and I'm here to support you through any challenges that arise.
How will I know if mediation is the right approach for me?
Mediation can be beneficial for individuals who are seeking a collaborative and empowering approach to addressing their struggles.
Some examples might be family conflicts, relationship or friendship challenges, workplace issues or internal struggles. Maybe you are trying to decide on a new career or a relationship change. It can be any issue that you are struggling with, that maybe you are too far into the details of it to see your way out. We will work together so that I can help you to see it differently and allow you to move forward with what is best for you.
If you value self-discovery, personal growth, and constructive communication, mediation may be a great option for you. Ultimately, the decision to pursue mediation is yours to make, and I'm here to support you if you decide it is a journey you want to take.
